After nightfall, we enter a completely different world in the metropolis of Delhi. A world of artificial lights in a myriad of colors – taillights, neon signs, street lamps. In this sea of lights, we portray a young woman and her personal view of the world. We are very close to our protagonist, so much so that it sometimes seems almost as though everything else has disappeared.

But just before that actually happens, we are again caught by the undertow and the otherness of a culture, a major city and a society that presents us with many puzzles.

We shoot from dusk to dawn with extremely light-sensitive lenses and digital cinema cameras, catching with them the natural, authentic multi-faceted lights and shadows of Delhi.
